Infinigate-gruppen utökar sin ledning med en ny operativ chef som skall leda förbättringen av de interna processerna och förbereda för att expandera i flera länder. Erik Walter har tidigare arbetat som VD på bl.a. Arrow ECS i Tyskland.

Infinigate, one of the most successful European Value Added Distributors (VAD) for IT security solutions, expands its management team with Erik Walter as Group COO to support  future growth.

Infinigate announced today that Erik Walter has been appointed COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Infinigate. In this newly created position Erik Walter will be responsible for the management and improvement of internal processes and general services in preparation for Infinigate's future growth and international expansion.

Erik Walter had already been working successfully with Infinigate from 2000 to 2003 as managing director at Infinigate Deutschland GmbH. In his new position as Group COO he will be able to continue his successful work. "Thanks to its clearly defined strategy Infinigate has shown an impressive development in the last years", says Erik Walter, "And I am happily looking forward to again take on responsibility at Infinigate and to support its further growth".

Erik Walter had been serving in different management positions within the IT distribution industry. Prior to joining Infinigate he had been Managing Director for Germany at Arrow ECS. Further positions had been Vice President for the DACH region at Magirus and Sales Manager Germany at TechData.
