Infinigate Belgium is searching for an

Accountant (Boekhouder)

Tasks:

• Entering incoming invoices and ensuring timely approval of these invoices.
• Checking incoming invoices, including purchase invoices, purchase credit notes and expense reports.
• Be responsible for the correct general and analytical accounting processing of purchase invoices.
• Payment of purchase invoices and other payments
• Ensure the correct allocation of costs to the correct period, cost account, cost center and the correct application of VAT rules.
• Daily entry of bank statements
• Maintaining supplier balances
• Activly account receivable management
• Contribute to the preparation of VAT returns.
• Performing accurate monthly closing with respect to deadlines to ensure timely reporting
• Keeping balance sheet items and general ledger accounts up to date and intercompany reconciliations,
• Proactively contribute to efficient processing and optimization of processes.

Requirements:

• Has a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or similar experience.
• Already has some experience in accounting.
• Works well with the common Microsoft Office packages and has practical knowledge of Excel, Knowledge of Navision is a plus.
• Speaks fluently Dutch and also express yourself well in English and French.
• Is flexible and stress-resistant.
• Has a proactive “make it happen” mindset and is goal and results oriented.
• Shows a sense of responsibility.
• Takes initiative and works accurately.
