Main job purposes

Responsible for the financial health of the Infinigate Belgium company. Producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research. Guiding management in making sound business decisions in the long and short term. An important linking pin position between the Regional Finance Director, Headquarters, the Managing Director Belgium and internal and external financial professionals.

Lead internal financial projects and new systems implementations in Belgium

Our office is in Mechelen.

The main language in the Benelux is Dutch. Fluent use of both the English language as well as English Financial jargon is essential. Knowledge of the French language is a plus.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Monitor the day-to-day financial and operational operations within the company
  • Oversee finance and Backoffice department employees, including order admins and accountant.
  • Contact person for accountant (tax preparation, annual accounts) and bank.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
  • Present financial reports to headquarter, executives and clients in formal meetings
  • Budgeting
  • Ensure all Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled monthly
  • Manage and maximize the company cash flow and funds back to Group
  • Manage the credit assessment of customer credit limits and payment terms
  • Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to support in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
  • Responsible for all local finance systems
  • Support any system updates and developments required by Group if applicable

Skills / Attributes required

  • Advanced degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or a related field
  • Several years of experience in a financial role; superior mathematical skills; leadership skills and experience; understanding of data privacy standards; solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Deep understanding of business principles and practices; superior attention to detail; organizational skills; planning skills; research skills; analytical skills; critical thinking skills; problem-solving skills; computer skills; multi-tasking abilities; integrity, honesty, unpretentious.
  • Preferred system experience: Microsoft office, Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
