Infinigate expands into France

9th September 2014 - Rotkreuz / Switzerland: Infinigate, one of Europe's leading VAD (Value Added Distributor) for IT Security Solutions expands its presence in Europe with the opening of an office in Paris, France. This step not only increases the number of active countries to 8 but also brings Infinigate closer to reach its objective of becoming Europe's foremost provider of IT Security Solutions to the Channel.

Only recently Infinigate announced the increase in turnover by 29% recording in excess of 200 mil. euros for the last fiscal year ending March 2014. Here follows already the next success story.

After acquisitions in Scandinavia and the UK, Infinigate opens an office in France and now also covers the third largest economy in Europe, after Germany and England. With eight independent subsidiaries in France, Germany, England, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, the Infinigate Group slowly but surely is becoming the most preferred Value Added Distributor of IT security of the European channel.

For the new office in Paris, Infinigate has won a team of specialists, experienced in the French IT Security Distribution sector. Infinigate France therefore starts right from the beginning with a skilled, knowledgeable team and well-known manufacturers. Patric Berger will lead as the Managing Director of the new subsidiary in France. He is a recognised expert of the French distribution landscape and has successfully managed another IT Security focused VAD in France for many years before joining Infinigate.

Infinigate France was able to sign popular vendors such as Checkpoint, Ipswitch and Tibco Loglogic from the very beginning.
