We’re looking for a proactive and influential HR Advisor to join our HR team on a part-time 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). In this role, you’ll support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to development and beyond, while focusing on driving high performance and building an engaging workplace. 

You’ll be a trusted partner to managers and employees, providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices in a pragmatic manner. If you love solving problems, influencing outcomes, and making a real impact on people’s experience at work, this is the role for you. 

As an inclusive employer, we are pleased to offer this role with flexible options: as 30-hours as a 4-day week or school hours, 5 days per week. We also offer a hybrid working policy with 2 days working from home and 3 days based in our South Cerney office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to embed a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and development planning. 
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. 
  • Handle employee relations cases with confidence and professionalism. 
  • Drive engagement initiatives that make work meaningful and rewarding. 
  • Contribute to HR projects and use data insights to improve processes and influence decisions. 
  • Manage the benefits administration with our brokers and third party providers 
  • Lead on the promotion of our benefits offering to drive awareness, strong engagement levels and align with our overall well-being strategy 
  • Maintain and optimise our HR system to ensure high data quality and a streamlined employee experience 
  • Utilise people data to identify key trends or challenges to support pro-active initiatives to drive high performance and enhanced employee well-being 

General Skills

  • Previous experience at HR Advisor level involving handling ER cases through formal stages 
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices 
  • CIPD qualification, minimum requirement Level 3
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills 
  • Pro-active and solutions focused mindset and passion for creating a great employee experience

  • FTE £36,000 – £40,000 per annum, Pro rata for 30 hours, £28,800 – £32,000
