For this year\u2019s International Women\u2019s Day, we\u2019re celebrating the occasion by spotlighting the inspiring women who help drive Infinigate forward every day. Across departments, their vision shapes not only our success, but the future of the IT channel for women itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this blog, six of our leaders from across departments share their personal journeys, the values that guide them, the milestones they\u2019re most proud of, and the lessons they\u2019ve learned along the way. “You don\u2019t need to have all the answers or feel completely ready. What matters is having the confidence to try, to get involved, and to stay curious about what comes next. This industry evolves quickly, and there\u2019s space for women in every part of it. Don\u2019t limit yourself to what you think you should do or what you\u2019ve seen others do. Explore, ask questions, and let your interests guide you. No field, no role, and no room is off limits to you.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

“Never doubt yourself within your role because you’re in that room for a reason. I think imposter syndrome is something many women have faced, especially in male dominated industries, and so reminding ourselves that we bring value, knowledge and our opinions and voices matter because we’re already in those rooms and conversations helps to bring back that assurance of our own abilities.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

“Building strong networks is key to success and women bring valuable diverse thinking that support staying ahead of the curve and innovation! Being a senior leader within the IT industry, I would also say my leadership style is being people centric so advice I’d give would be to always focus on being people centric in decision making.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What’s kept you within the IT industry? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Despite being one of the most dynamic and fast-moving sectors, the technology industry still struggles with gender imbalance. Women make up only around a quarter to just over a quarter of tech roles globally, with 27 % of technology jobs are held by women. At Infinigate, we’re proud to be leading from the front with 42% of our workforce across our UKI business being made up of powerful women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“What\u2019s kept me here is that nothing ever stands still in Cloud, especially Microsoft. There\u2019s always something new to learn, Cloud, Data & AI, Agents, you name it. Every day feels different, and there\u2019s always a new opportunity to help someone or make something work better and it stops me from getting bored!”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

“I’m incredibly proud to represent women in tech so much so that I actively partake in speaking at events across the midlands to empower and share insights to other women in the channel. One of the things I’m most proud of is creating the podcast called ‘Pass the Mic: Women in Cyber\u201d’ with BT and partners to amplify women\u2019s voices in our industry.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What values do you think make a great female leader?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Studies from organisations such as McKinsey highlight that women are more likely to remain in tech roles when they have access to mentorship and visible career role models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The values I promote are integrity, empathy, and curiosity. Integrity keeps me grounded in doing what\u2019s right and being consistent in how I show up. Empathy helps me stay connected to the people I\u2019m leading and understand what they need to do their best work. Curiosity encourages a culture where we\u2019re openminded, ask questions, and aren\u2019t afraid to explore new ideas together.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

As we mark International Women’s Day 2026, it\u2019s clear that the future of IT isn\u2019t just being shaped by innovation and technology, it\u2019s being shaped by the women driving it forward every day. At Infinigate, we\u2019re proud that 42% of our UKI workforce is made up of women, a figure that demonstrates our commitment to empowering, promoting and continuing to support the women around us.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
