What?

This course is designed to provide IT Professionals with foundation level knowledge of Microsoft Azure Networking. It will cover the Microsoft Azure networking resources that can be used to build, access, manage and secure Azure-based platforms, including resource configuration and design considerations

This course is designed to prepare delegates to begin to deploy and administer Microsoft Azure networking resources and work with these resources at the core of their solutions

prefer a particular style of course (I.e. wholly or predominantly lab based workshops or immersion experiences) and would ask them to consider their preferred learning style before registration.

Audience

Course Level: 200-300. Delegates must come with prior understanding of Microsoft Azure and ideally have completed Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Roles Aimed at: Network Engineers, Technical Administrators, Solution and Presales Architects. It is also designed for those looking to extend their knowledge of Microsoft Azure or looking to change their career path

This course is not intended for:

  • Advanced Microsoft Azure Networking Engineers or Architects
  • Non-technical roles, even with decision making ability
  • Day 1 users. 3 – 6 months of familiarisation recommended

Prerequisites

  • A modern laptop/desktop. Whilst not essential, dual screen setup enhances learning to see instructor and materials/labs
  • A modern browser (Edge/Chrome)
  • A good internet connection (wired recommended)
  • Microsoft Teams Installed

This course also has the following requirements:

  • New, empty Microsoft Azure subscription with spend available
  • Owner permissions on the Microsoft Azure subscription, as well as Global Admin permissions in an associated Tenant
  • Basic experience using the Microsoft Azure Portal
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses and subnets, DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancing
