Nearly a third of employees are keeping their AI‑driven productivity a secret, finds Ivanti research

Ivanti’s latest 2025 Technology at Work Report surveyed over 6,000 office workers and 1,200 IT and cybersecurity professionals, exploring the challenges and opportunities in today’s modern workforce. Key insights include:

• AI and productivity concerns: 42% of employees now use GenAI at work, but many worry about job security (30%) or experience AI-fueled imposter syndrome (27%).
• Resenteeism and presenteeism: Nearly half of employees feel disengaged or “performative” at work, highlighting the need for recognition and autonomy.
• Flexibility is key: Younger generations prioritize workplace flexibility, with 53–54% willing to switch jobs to gain it.
• Tech complexity remains a challenge: Despite massive investments, 46% of IT professionals report rising ticket volumes from new software, showing that AI alone cannot solve underlying infrastructure complexity.

Ivanti emphasizes that organizations must balance innovation with empathy, secure AI usage, and provide employees with flexibility to maintain engagement and productivity.
