The threat situation in cyberspace continues to escalate: cyber criminals are increasingly relying on AI to exploit security vulnerabilities in a targeted manner. According to the latest SonicWall Cyber Threat Report 2025, companies were the target of critical attacks for an average of 68 days in 2024 – an alarming figure!
SMEs are particularly affected: They often lack the resources to defend themselves against increasingly sophisticated attacks. While 61% of hackers exploit new vulnerabilities within 48 hours, companies often need 120-150 days to apply patches.
