This course is the first level of technical training for Sophos Firewall. It provides fundamental understanding of the technical possibilities and applications of the XG/XGS firewall. This includes basic configuration, commonly used functionalities, design, and implementation of a simple environment including dimensioning. This course extends and builds upon the “Sophos Certified Engineer Firewall” course. It includes all content from the engineer’s course, adding valuable content from Infinigate (real-world practical knowledge, debugging, etc.) as well as extensive live labs.

This course prepares you to master the basic configurations of Sophos Firewall in all functional areas. As a Sophos partner, you will be able to successfully pass the Sophos Certified Engineer Firewall exam at the end of the training, and will then be able to progress to the Certified Architect level.
