Infinigate and Swissbit announce strategic partnership in Germany and Austria

Rotkreuz, Switzerland, June 17, 2025 – Infinigate Group, the leading technology platform and trusted advisor in cybersecurity, cloud and network infrastructure, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Swissbit, a leading manufacturer of storage and security solutions. Effective immediately, Swissbit’s iShield Key family of FIDO2 security keys are available through Infinigate’s distribution network in Germany and Austria.

With the addition of the Swissbit iShield Key series to its portfolio, Infinigate is expanding its range of innovative multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions. The FIDO2 security keys from Swissbit, developed and produced in Germany, offer maximum security, ease of use and flexibility. They enable companies and organisations to effectively protect digital identities and meet regulatory requirements such as NIS2 and DORA.

Infinigate will offer its channel partners simplified access to Swissbit’s solutions via its extensive network. The collaboration is an important step towards further accelerating the spread of phishing-resistant authentication methods in German-speaking countries and raising awareness of “Security Made in Germany”.

Swissbit’s authentication solutions offer secure digital logins based on the FIDO2 standard. These extended models enable applications in the areas of access control and secure printing, among others.

With the MIFARE and FIPS models, Swissbit also offers the world’s first FIDO security keys that support MIFARE DESFire EV3 or have FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification. All security keys are produced at Swissbit’s own semiconductor production facility in Berlin and guarantee the highest security standards.
