EU approves acquisition of Nuvias
Rotkreuz, 21 October 2022 - EU authorities today officially approved Infinigate’s acquisition of Nuvias. The acquisition establishes Infinigate as a pan-European Cyber Security powerhouse and will create a platform of continued above-market growth in Europe, bolstering Infinigate’s leadership position across cybersecurity, secure networking and secure cloud.
The acquisition will significantly upgrade the presence of Infinigate Group in UK, France, Benelux and Nordics territory. The Unified Communications business of Nuvias Group (Nuvias UC) is not part of the transaction and will be a separate entity under the continued ownership of Rigby Private Equity. Rigby Private Equity will be a shareholder in the Infinigate Group. The transaction is expected to finally close by mid-November.
Now that Vuzion (31 August) and Starlink (4 October) are part of the Infinigate Group we are consolidating our position as a full EMEA powerhouse with increased relevance for its vendors and resellers, with more than 1,100 dedicated personnel, taking all completed and projected acquisitions into account. The total turnover of the Group is estimated at €2.2 billion for 2023.
