Maarten Bovée hands over leadership of Infinigate Belgium to Peter Beurghs

Mechelen, Belgium 15 January 2025 — Infinigate Belgium has announced a change in its executive management. After three years at the helm as Managing Director (MD) of Infinigate Belgium, Maarten Bovée is handing over the torch to Peter Beurghs. This transition is part of a carefully considered succession plan, following a period of strong growth and structural development to position the company prominently within the Belgium and Luxembourg markets.

Under the leadership of Maarten Bovée, Infinigate Belgium’s revenue tripled in just three years as the company successfully differentiated as a distinct cybersecurity value-added distributor. Infinigate brought a fresh approach to the cybersecurity landscape in Belgium and Luxembourg and grew into a trusted partner for leading resellers, MSPs, and system integrators.

Alongside its commercial expansion, the company invested heavily in differentiation and specialization with key milestones such as the establishment of the IT/OT Experience Center in Mechelen: a unique platform where partners, vendors, and end customers are able to experience, test, and validate technology in realistic scenarios. This initiative creates clear added value for the entire ecosystem.

Bovée also initiated a strong focus on emerging technologies. Peter Beurghs brings more than twenty years of experience within IT, IT distribution and channel ecosystem in international strategic management roles. He takes over leadership of an organization that is both operationally and strategically ready for further scaling and innovation within the cybersecurity domain.

Maarten Bovée will remain active within the technology landscape and will take over the torch from Koen Van Lommel as CEO of NTX, a fast-growing Flemish company specializing in managed services.
